AEC - Architecture, Engineering, Construction | New design | Tablet/Touchscreen, Web | 4 weeks | $7,500 |
This client asked us to create a tablet-based user experience with a corresponding web application UI so that the different people who work on a project (either onsite or back at the office) could effectively do the same work. Since users of the tablet would also be users of the web application, the user experiences would need to be related. We created wireframe mockups and visual designs of twelve screens in Photoshop for the development team to translate into product code with two entirely different sets of tools. This work predated the iPad by two years.

OUR DESIGN
Four different visual mockups of the same tablet/touch screen-based user experience. Notice how chunky the controls are for the touchscreen.

OUR DESIGN
A mockup of the web-based version of the interface, with additional functionality that users need back at the office.
