Intranet Healthcare Style Guide Word, Web 80 page Word document $15,000

We worked with this client to develop a style guide that could be used across dozens of products that the company builds and uses internally. To create the guide, we worked with the team to review all the existing products and extract "best practices" from around the company. We then combined this with our experience in the development of web applications to make recommendations. The style guide included plenty of examples (both images and HTML) to make it easy for the engineering teams to use the styles. The guide was written in Microsoft Word (download a 5-page PDF sample), then ported to HTML. We also helped the client with the selection, purchase and cataloging of several icon sets so that the development team would have a consisent set of icons to draw upon.

OUR STYLE GUIDE

A section of the User Experience Style Guide, created in MS Word. Note that many UI Designers do not understand how to create a Style Guide because they don't understand what issues are important to the engineers.

OUR STYLE GUIDE

Our Style Guides are created with the tools that your team likes to use (not some exclusive designer's tool like Quark or InDesign), because in order to be effective, a Style Guide must exist as a living document-one that is edited by many people, even after the UI Designer has finished work on the project.

This HTML Style Guide is used by many development teams across a large organization.
